Are you in the beginning of your career and want to learn about quantitative and qualitative risk management within Swedbank?
We are now looking for a Risk Officer to work within the Balance Sheet Analysis team at Group Risk.
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Join Balance Sheet Analysis in Group Risk, a team that has the risk ownership for structural risks in the balance sheet and is in particular responsible for analysing and monitoring the development and need of liquidity and capital risk
- Help us improve the team’s ability in risk ownership areas and more, such as capital and liquidity stress testing
- Take part in projects related to risk analysis and stress testing of the bank
- Work with quantitative and qualitative problem solving on structural risks to the bank, by identifying, quantifying, analysing, monitoring, and reporting on structural risks
- Work with data using tools like SQL and SAS as you prepare analyses and material sent to both Group Risk Management and the Bank’s Board of Directors, supporting decision making and strategy discussions
- Collaborate with other departments in the bank to enhance our joint understanding of how structural risks can be quantified
What is needed in this role:
- You are an analytical and open-minded team player with a genuine interest in banking, finance and risk analysis
- You are curious and not afraid to take on whatever task and project that comes in your way and you always look for ways to improve
- Curiosity and a desire to learn how a large bank works
- Master’s degree in finance, engineering, mathematics, or other relevant field
- Just graduating from university or working 0-2 years
- Experience in databases, programming and statistical tools such as SQL and SAS is an advantage
- Strong presentation and analytical skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English, both in written and spoken form
