The role
MAJORITY is looking for a Risk Operations Lead, to lead the risk team in Houston, TX.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor existing transactions performance for loss/risk exposure.
Provide analysis and reporting.
Review and monitor current claim and collection results for trends while focusing on reducing the claim rate.
Proactively identify fraud and AML by utilizing the internal security monitoring system to effectively analyze transaction activity.
Manage and escalate alerts when required.
Provide quality customer service and subject matter expertise to all internal departments, third party partners and the sales organization.
Investigate cases as needed.
Drive results with a proven ability to achieve both team and individual goals consistently.
Qualifications:
Successful track record of leading teams to finishing line
Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields. Master’s degree is a plus.
At least 4 years of experience in similar roles.
Proven track record in risk management within the financial transaction industry.
A team player with ability to create strong relationships with the different teams in the organisation.
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
A plus if bilingual in both English and Spanish
Need to be qualified to work in the US.
