Risk Project Manager
Nasdaq Clearing is looking for a Risk Project Manager to join the CRO organization in Stockholm. Nasdaq Clearing is a multi-asset derivatives clearinghouse covering Commodities, Equity and Fixed Income. The major risks involved in the clearing business are counterparty risk, market risk, liquidity risk and operational risk.

The Risk Project Manager will be part of the Risk Policy and Reporting team in the CRO function. In this role, we offer you the opportunity to bring your amazing project management experience combined with a deep knowledge of risk and risk processes, to leading projects for the 2nd line Risk Management teams. In this role, you will be managing various risk related projects or work streams in initiatives dedicated to, for example, new business initiatives, risk IT infrastructure efficiency projects, or coordinate work related to any regulatory exercises or operationalizing of new regulations. The best suited candidate should have broad experience and knowledge in risk management.
Your role & responsibilities include:
Managing, planning and monitoring projects independently.
Coordinate larger projects jointly with the global risk team and participate in relevant stakeholder meetings.
Utilizing and managing resources and coordinating effectively with stakeholders and colleagues.
Ensuring that projects meet their obligations regarding requirements, specifications, quality, costs, timeframes and communication.
Delivers and completes simultaneous projects of varying complexity according to standards whilst meeting or exceeding expectations.
Coordinate and participate in writing and putting together regulatory submissions.
Participate in the teams continuous updates of our frameworks.
We expect you to have:
BSc or MSc in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or other related discipline
Several years of experience in risk management is required
Experience in leading teams of people from various teams and backgrounds
Demonstrable experience with project management methodologies
Experience in managing external or internal customers, including Steering Committees
Good interpersonal skills, the ability to effectively manage relationships and work with culturally diverse teams
Fluency in written and spoken English
