RnD Assistant Ljusgårda

Ljusgårda is a vertical farm using controlled environmental agriculture to grow lettuce in the most optimal conditions. With the newest technology in modern agriculture, re-circulating hydroponic systems and with a large-scale industrial approach - Ljusgårda is changing the way we farm, enabling locally grown lettuce to thousands of homes every day, using zero pesticides. We are currently growing in Solgården, our first facility of 7000 sqm and we are already building our second large scale facility of 18 000 sqm with the purpose of expanding our product range and increasing yields.

You will be a part of our small but growing Development Team. As RnD Assistant you will work with designing/planning trials and research, monitoring and collecting crop data and analysing results to gain important insights. You will work in both our lab environment and our full scale production together with the Grow Team.

As RnD Assistant you have a relevant education or diploma in either agriculture, horticulture or plant science and/or working experience in any related area. You have experience in collecting and analysing plant data and insights, and then visualising this in a final report. It’s a plus if you have experience of cultivation in either green house, controlled- or semi controlled environments and have a proven record of optimizing and improving yields and quality. As a person you enjoy working in a team, are ambitious and ready to challenge yourself. Most important, you are eager to learn and expand your knowledge in modern farming and cultivating. You will work full time on site in Tibro.
