Role of Backend Developer/Engineer in Stockholm

We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Back End Developer / Engineer with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:
Two of our Developer Interfaces engineering teams are looking for engaged and enthusiastic Software Engineers! We're working as a self-contained unit, each of us responsible for our own part of the organisation.


You will assist us in modernising our Web API during this assignment. Java, Maven, Git, gRPC, REST, GraphQL, Google Cloud, Kubernetes/GKE, and Docker will all be used in our tech stack.


We also assist Spotify in staying current with technology by contributing to our internal tools and frameworks, which benefit other backend engineering teams!


Develop, test, and deploy web APIs with a focus on high availability, reliability, accuracy, and monitoring.


To identify problems and design solutions, collaborate with other software engineers, business partners, and decision-makers, such as product managers.




Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
Competency prerequisites for the applicant:
You're used to designing and developing APIs that are both reliable and easy to maintain.
You're passionate about writing clean code and have a solid coding foundation.
You've worked with modern infrastructure and tools like JAVA, Maven, REST, Kubernetes, GRPC, and Docker before.
