We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Data Scientist – Gaming with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
We're putting together a new team to bring innovative, impactful, and rewarding advertising experiences to our massive audience of highly engaged players, as well as to develop powerful marketing solutions used by the world's largest marketers. We are looking for a Data Scientist with a Bachelor's degree.
Product focus on pushing the limits of mobile game analytics and advertising performance.
You will be responsible for the following:
Translate business requirements into technical requirements and AB-tests, and collaborate with development teams to ensure proper implementation, including accurately tracking the right information to allow easy, precise analysis of the impact.
Provide an analytics perspective to team discussions and prioritisation so that the entire team chooses the right ideas to work on. Leverage understanding of metrics, testing methodology, and business strategy to help define the company's roadmap.
Encourage and employ modelling techniques (for example, reinforcement learning, time series forecasting, and causal methods) to provide precise measurement of our player base and to improve our data products.
Proactively identify improvements to the execution of research and analytics within the Data Science team. Present and visualise results concisely to senior management for decision making.
Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
Competency prerequisites for the applicant:
2+ years of experience as a data scientist, with at least 1 year at a technology company, is required (including product analytics)
Consistent track record of working on data-driven projects and with large amounts of data and infrastructure.
Ability to research, identify, and disseminate best practises in terms of tools, systems, and processes across teams. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional audiences (e.g., Product, Engineering, Business Strategy).
You are methodical and practical; you can prioritise and assist with business requests, such as analysing A/B tests, unusual player behaviour, complex interaction dynamics, and so on.
Extensive knowledge of statistical and machine learning methods for solving business problems.

It would be advantageous to have the following:
Prior experience with gaming or advertising data products. Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and collaborative environment.
Ability to write complex SQL queries and work effectively in any functional programming language for numerical analysis.
Strong commitment to data-driven development and design, as well as an experimental and analytical approach to product improvement.
Capable of demonstrating good communication skills as well as experience visualising and reporting learnings.
