Role of Test Engineer | 100% Remote

We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Test Engineer with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:
You will be a key contributor to Volvo's next generation of outstanding luxury cars as part of Product and Quality Research and Development. You and your team will collaborate with other engineers from around the world to develop innovative human-centric car technology that makes people's lives easier and more enjoyable.


The group is in charge of developing, building, and maintaining test objects that are used for software testing and development by all teams in the Connected experience. Specifically, subsystem rigs, automatic HIL rigs, and automobiles.


You will be part of the iCAR build team, which will be responsible for developing new test objects and performing tasks such as:
Assemble subsystem rigs (manual rigs)
Assemble, configure, and install HIL rigs
Configure and install HIL capabilities (test cameras, logging equipment, and so on)
Plan and communicate the build plan to the organization.





Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
Competency prerequisites for the applicant:
A bachelor's degree in electrical or electronic engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
European driver's licence in good standing B
