ABOUT THE ROLE
As Routing Manager Messaging you will manage routing for A2P SMS: test, implement and manage supplier’s routes, review cost and margins and make corresponding routing decisions. You will prepare and distribute trend reports, review new opportunities as well as identify cost savings. Tasks will include support of new and existing products within Messaging Portfolio and help to maximize the profitability of the Messaging Business. This role includes customer relations & customer support, collaborating with the Messaging Team and partners/suppliers to assure best service for Tele2 customers as well as assuring smooth day to day system operations.
Responsibilities include:
Analysis of cost and margins and preparing corresponding routing decisions
Manage the operational aspects and processes of existing and new products
Collaborate with the team to define the routing & pricing strategy taking into account existing commercial contracts, bilateral relationships with SMS aggregators and other partners
Assist the commercial team with pricing strategy, analytics, quality statistics
Follow and understand business and market trends, assess opportunities and risks in order to support the routing decisions
Set clear objectives and guidelines and undertake corrective measures to align business performances to relevant levels of expectations
Ensure availability of updated routing documentation, organizes monthly routing decision team meetings and improves processes with efficient team support in order to manage the operational aspects and processes
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
We believe that you have previous experience with Messaging Business, global focus as well as strong collaboration and communication skills to assist in facilitating problem resolution. Including the ability to demonstrate critical thinking and ability to develop strategic on-going customer relationships. You are result driven, perseverant and have a strong partnership and customer focus.
We also believe that you have:
University degree in technical subjects or its equivalent
Experience within Messaging Business (SMS, Omnichannel, Rich Messaging etc.) Telecommunication
Strong business acumen as well as technical knowledge
Experience in stakeholder management
Experience within complex, fast paced environments, working with a distributed team
English proficiency, Swedish is a merit
In depth data knowledge analysis using MS Excel or equivalent (MySQL is a merit)
Persistent with the ability to work independently to achieve objectives
Analytical and logical thinker with the ability to apply creative solutions to resource constraints
