We believe that as autonomous drive turns into standard, the digital cockpit of the car will be developed into a user experience far beyond what is known today. Our company is growing rapidly and we are now looking for an architect who is passionate about complex technology, product development and the future of electromobility.

Working at ECARX in Gothenburg is all about autonomy. We are developing a digital cockpit product from silicon to pixels and at the same time designing our ways of working, our teams and our company culture. We are a young company with little legacy and thrive on taking initiative, collaborating and our love for problem solving.



The role

You will be the software architecture expert in the ECARX SE development organisation and coach your colleagues in best practices for software development.

You will develop "One architecture" - supporting superset product configurations together with our techleads and the lead architect

You will be part of our current and future collaboration with Google.

You will also be part of defining tooling requirements with the DevOps team.


Who we are looking for

You have vast experience in developing complex software solutions, preferably in embedded and automotive systems.

You understand product development and have experience from being an active member of at least one project ranging from initial idea to SOP

You have knowledge/expertise in the Android Automotive OS (AAOS) Platform

You have a higher technical degree in computer science or equivalent

You thoroughly enjoy technical challenges and solving them together with colleagues

You have full professional proficiency in English. Swedish is optional but preferred.

Intercultural project experience is an advantage
