What's in it for you?
As an experienced Release Train Engineer, you are a servant leader and support some of the clusters in the Corporate Worklife product area, focusing on enabling a great worklife and employee journey for Volvo Cars employees and consultants, located in the Digital Core unit.
What you’ll do:
You will be driving improvements as well as delivering according to the prioritized cluster backlog, you will coach/lead cluster Scrum Masters to get high performing teams.
Your will book and lead all Cluster Ceremonies in a fun and engaging way.
You will manage and provide transparency – relevant, clear, and accurate metrics.
Proactively manage stakeholders by serving our Product Manager (PM) and successfully deliver according to agreed scope and priorities in a predictable, and transparent manner.
Proactively demonstrate control of the key issues i.e. risk, impediments, and compliance, and manage proper mitigating activities to ensure a smooth delivery

Who you are:
We’re looking for a senior who have experience working as a Release Train Engineer previously, preferably in complex programs in the Agile setting. Therefore, you have excellent knowledge of the Agile mindset and values as well as PX settings.
You possess experience in building a strong team and, subsequently, team development, but also experience in leading change, and interest in continuously developing yourself as well as others. It’s natural for you to lead complex initiatives with distributed multi-faceted teams in a fast-paced environment, and to understand IT process and the software development lifecycle. Additionally, you have experience in managing or leading a team in an agile/project set-up, experience in building strong stakeholder relationships, and have analytical skills.
As a person, we see you have the ability to be flexible in your way of communicating since different stakeholders have different levels of agile maturity, therefore, you have great communication and networking skills, and are good at driving collaboration across the value chain. You enjoy learning and are excited about bringing your ideas to the table, and have the willingness to drive initiatives of both agile and more traditional character. We notice you are dependable, well-grounded, willing to speak up – even when it’s difficult – and committed to empowering others. You enjoy structuring large events, and meetings, and have strong facilitation skills and use them in a good manner, due to this, you have the ability to present /talk for both small and large crowds. You demonstrate to have the ability to take initiative, and be strong in drive, being goal-oriented, structured, dedicated, and thorough. Last but not least, you have the ability to work and lead cross-border with different cultural team members and distributed teams.
The position is located in Gothenburg with flexibility to work some remote when suitable.
