Tour Manager

This position contributes to the Company's Mission, values, and strategic priorities by implementing the principles of Aggressive Hospitality in the following areas:
.High level of service related to tour bookings, private shore activities and disembarkation arrangements
.Training, coaching, and retaining qualified staff.
.Leading staff to superior levels of performance.
.Safe professional and personal practices
.Effective business processes.
In carrying out these responsibilities, the Tour Manager undertakes duties in the four areas of the professional performance score card:
. Guest Experience
. Safety
. Silver C's Leadership
. Business Processes
The corresponding duties in each of these performance areas are detailed below. Theses duties are undertaken within company policies, standards, and operating manuals, regulatory mandates.
1. Meets and exceeds guest expectations and ensures complete guest satisfaction
2. Provides guests with port and tour information (port talk)
3. Available to guests for tour information and tour sales
4. Escorts and oversees tours
5. Oversees arrangements pertaining to disembarkation
6. Socializes with guests whenever time permits
7. Demonstrates genuine concern for guests' well-being at all times
8. Pro-active approach to problem solving
9. Social duties
10. Induct, train, coach, and lead crew to consistently superior levels of performance.
11. Determine and communicate standards of performance to employees
12. Fully implements the Performance Interview system and complies with certification process
13. Complies fully with company procedures for talent management including the policies for promotion and transfer
14. Strives to create and maintain a positive work environment
15. Models excellent leadership behavior
16. Fosters teamwork and partnering within all departments on board
17. Complete Silver Service CD-room training.
18. Complete Silver C's training.
