Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.
SAP Center of Excellence is a part of Scania IT that aims to provide Scania with cross-functional strategic guidance and unified SAP solutions. As part of a new strategic direction, SAP CoE has been integrated in the same organization as our ERP Digital Core section that works on major Scania cross-functional platforms as D365, MS AX, CRM, SAP.
The team consists of 15 senior professionals with a mixture of SAP architects and engineers working on a global scale across all of Scania’s main processes. As owners of Scania’s SAP Guardrails, we aim to provide the best SAP solutions for all of Scania, capitalizing on standard solutions and harmonizing the system’s landscape.
One of the challenges ahead will be helping Scania meet new business models and opportunities for the future.
Your Responsibilities
As a S/4 HANA Finance architect, you will be tasked with overseeing the successful delivery of an exciting finance transformation journey for the Industrial Operations within Scania. The ideal Architect for this role should have a broad S/4 Finance & Controlling knowledge and full-lifecycle project experience (from business process, design & blueprint to build). This role will see you work with different stakeholders in Scania’s Finance Organization. Exercising strong communication skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders is essential, as is the ability to drive organizational standardization and efficiency.
Your Profile
We are looking for a Senior Professional with a minimum of 6+ years of SAP experience and with previous experience of at least one S/4 Hana implementation project. It is an advantage if you have experience in the automotive industrial production area.
We expect that you have an IT university degree, preferably with a specialization in finance. You have deep knowledge in IT and like to handle both strategic and technical discussions. Good knowledge of core Finance and control functionality in SAP. As well as good articulations skills for documenting the finance processes.
Most importantly, a deep knowledge in Controlling including Material & Inventory Accounting, Product Costing among others.
As a person, you need to be results-oriented, organized and have good planning skills. You have detailed technical knowledge but also have the ability to think strategically. You view continuous improvement as part of your daily work. Good cooperation and communication skills are a given since you have responsibility for the area delivery in close cooperation with various stakeholders. It is also important that you are able to take the initiative and work independently.
You must be proficient in written and spoken English. Previous work experience from a Nordic country is necessary.
