Safety Assurance Engineer to be based in Stockholm

What will you do?
Working with railway signalling has never been more exciting that now. The new European standard, ERTMS is on its way to reshape the future of public transportation.
Your main responsibilities will be to manage Safety requirements and to perform Safety analysis with the strict application of process according to the existing Signalling Safety Instructions and standards.
You will participate in the elaboration of the Safety Cases. You will need to apply the Safety assurance methodologies e.g safety analysis, FMEA, FTA defined for the specific project.
Another part of the role will be for you to attend periodic Safety Reviews with our experts and support actions contributing to close the findings of the internal or external assessors
These responsibilities may vary depending on which previous knowledge and experience you bring with you. Together we grow.

Who are you?
You have some previous experience from the rail industry or from an adjacent sector such as structured engineering company in the automotive, the energy or industrial control systems will be a good match.
You have former experience within functional safety or as alternative, a background to be successful in this position, can be in product development and/or testing, preferable of safety system, and you have can learn about safety methodologies.
Advanced University or Engineering degree
System, Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical engineering knowledge
Hardware and/or Software knowledge
Knowledge of Safety Standards is an asset
Knowledge of Railway Signalling systems and products is an advantage
Structured and organized with good analytical skill Resilient and work ethics
Team player with very good communication skills. Knowledge of English is a must; Swedish is an added value
