The Product Safety Off-Road team is part of the Product Safety organization which consists of two parts – Off-Road applications and On-Road applications. The Product Safety organization is currently about 20 highly skilled and experienced Safety managers, Safety engineers and Regulatory Compliance experts. We work in close collaboration with all other parts of the V.A.S. organization to ensure a safe system and fulfillment of the required safety standards as well as Regulatory compliance.  
What will you be doing? 
As a Safety Manager, you will lead Product Safety for Autonomous Transport Solutions in confined areas. Your responsibilities include developing safe products and systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, owning the Safety Case, conducting Safety analyses, defining requirements, and leading a team of skilled safety engineers. You will ensure technical concepts meet safety standards and compile evidence for our autonomous transport solutions.
You should excel at building long-term relationships and trust, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and guiding cross-functional teams in implementing safe solutions according to our processes.

Other qualifications for this role: 
You have a university degree within Engineering, such as Electrical, Software, Mechatronics or equivalent 

Experience working with either machines or road vehicles within the Safety area 

Knowledge of safety engineering processes (Hazard and Operability Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis etc.) 

Knowledge in development according to safety Standards such as ISO12100, ISO13849, ISO17757, ISO26262, SOTIF or equivalent 

Documentation experience and good documentation skills 
Fluent in English, written and spoken
