Monitoring the driver behavior is safety critical both for normal driving as well as for autonomous driving. Role Summary:
Your main task is to analyze safety requirements and create safety concepts for product development. You will work closely with both customers and our development team and need to understand and influence the customers’ requirements and translate that into safety solutions together with our product development team.
You will have the possibility to form the role based on your experience and knowledge.
Reporting to: CTO/VP Development
Location: Smart Eye AB, Headquarters (Gothenburg)
Responsibilities and challenges:
- Analyze safety demands in close cooperation with our customers within the automotive industry (customer meetings, workshops with customers etc.).
- Develop software safety concepts and safety plans according to ISO 26262.

Document software safety cases and ensure a systematic way of working that fulfils automotive quality and safety standards.

Communicate processes and standards to everyone in the team/organization
Background and personal qualities:
- University degree within Engineering context, Electro, Embedded, Physics or similar (Masters a plus).
- Background in software development, preferably within embedded systems.
- Experience of software development and/or system engineering within automotive industry (Tier 1/OEM).

Experience of analyzing safety requirements and working with safety concepts for software architectures, that may include machine learning elements

Experience of working with cyber security is a strong merit.

Ability to work independently in an environment that changes rapidly.

A positive, enthusiastic, open, entrepreneurial attitude and a willingness to work closely with customers as well as other functions within Smart Eye to achieve the growth.

Strong analytical, creative skills. Independent, Self-driven, Thorough, Curious and with a strong interest in new technologies.

Excellent communication skills with fluency in both Swedish and English. Other languages are a merit.
