We are currently looking for a
Safety Manager for our control system platform located in Västerås, Sweden
The Safety Manager will be involved in research, development and maintenance projects related to the control system coordinating the safety activities. The safety manager is responsible to define processes and templates for functional safety management but will also participate in projects creating work products while ensuring compliance with the safety management system, supporting processes, procedures and applicable international standards in terms of safety. Provide support in estimating work effort for bids and preparation of work package descriptions for safety as required.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for analysis of safety requirements and solutions
Develop and maintain safety processes and templates
Develop, produce, support and maintain safety related documents in projects
Coordinate the functional safety team
Provide support to project and external stake holders

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in engineering, preferably in computer sciences
3 – 5 years of relevant experience
Experience of control and embedded systems
Cyber security competence
Functional safety competence
Network communication competence
Skilled in using Microsoft office
Leading teams and projects
English, business fluent, is mandatory for this role
