Safety Product Owner to ABB Robotics!

ABB Robotics develops, manufactures and markets robots and associated control systems, software, arc welding products, tracks and motor packages. A clear focus on automated solutions helps manufacturers improve productivity, product quality and safety in the work environment through automation. The robots and robotics are sold via local ABB companies, as well as via independent systems integrators and OEM companies.
Now we are looking for a Safety Product Owner to join our R&D team in Västerås, mainly focused on driving our safety software backlog together with our safety team. In this role you have a safety mindset, ability to prioritize the backlog together with stakeholders and deliver in collaboration with the team.
Communication is key, both internally and externally with customer, which means you are a natural communicator. The work also includes driving our Safety strategy together with our safety manager and architects. You share our passion for industrial challenges, creating high customer satisfaction and delivering results.

Your responsibilities
Coordinate and drive our safety backlog together with stakeholders and the team.
Drive short- and long-term solutions according to our processes for safety.
Communicate with stakeholders, customer and experts to facilitate our safety implementation.

Your background
A M.Sc. in Computer Science, Embedded development or related discipline.
Experience in Safety software development.
You share our passion for industrial challenges, creating high customer satisfaction and delivering results.
You have a safety mindset and is eager to learn.
As a true team player, you are communicative, collaborative and positive and thrive in a role where you can take initiative – all to contribute to our future success.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral, are also essential. Proficiency in Swedish is a plus.
Knowledge of ISO 13849 is an advantage.
