The Business Support assignment is to enable IKEA co-workers and visitors to experience an environment offering inspiring work places, dynamic meetings and creative learning.
As the Safety and Security operations specialist you ensure that the co-workers and visitors experience a safe and well-functioning office by taking responsibility for safety and security services, delivering a sustainable, safe, functional environment for co-workers and visitors. You make sure that all our facilities are safe and secure every day!
About the assignment
As the Safety and Security operations specialist you will be responsible for the daily safety & security of our offices in Southern Sweden . You will be part of the our office service team and report to the Office Service Manager. In your role you will also secure compliance with country and Inter IKEA Group Policies regarding safety, security and risk awareness for our office locations in Southern Sweden. As part of your job you will;
Secure compliance with rules and regulations within country and Inter IKEA Group Policies regarding safety, security and risk awareness
Advice & support co-workers and management on safety & security related issues including rebuilds, special events ect.
Coordinate and align the safety & security operations between the different facilities
Signal risks in the areas of safety, register and report accidents, incidents and near misses
Document and perform routine inspection and maintenance activities on safety and security systems
Lead, organizing and follow up on the different required trainings and drills with our internal and external partners. Trainings such as safety, evacuation, first aid and firefighting.
Keep the emergency response plans from the different locations up to date
Coordinate the attendance and maintenance of firefighting equipment and first aid equipment
Manage and be contact person for all property related issues, Räddningstjänsten and security company
Manage and monitoring the fire alarm systems and sprinkler systems.
Manage and monitor the intruders alarm systems, the camera systems, the (master)key systems and access control systems.
Manage service agreements and relationships with security service providers
You will be a part of a small team and even if there are different areas of responsibility, it is very important that you are willing to work with all responsibilities within the Office Service area.
About you:
To be able to succeed in this job, you need to share and live the IKEA values. You need to carry vast experience from working in a service profession, preferably in a multi-cultural environment with good experience working in IKEA.
You are passionate in life at home and home furnishing curious to explore and share with a positive attitude and energy to grasp opportunities. You are a team player as manage yourself with a great willingness to offer high level of support.
Further we would like you to have:
· Proven knowledge related to work-environment and Safety & Security requirements for offices including emergency response
Proven experience in managing safety & security systems
Proven experience in the coordination of safety trainings like first aid and fire fighting
Good knowledge of MS Office and relevant Business Solutions.
Understanding principles and practices for stakeholder management.
Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail to accurately create and verify reports, lists, etc.
Ability to build trust and excellent relationships across with suppliers, visitors, co-workers and business partners.
Experience of working in projects is a plus.
Good communication skills in English and Swedish as being an excellent in communication in an engaging and clear way with simple tone of voice.
