We are a modern organization with high technology machines and mindset. Technology development and upgrading project are constantly on our agenda. Our productions are within fast moving consumer goods. In our Falkenberg site we are producing diapers, incontinence products mostly for markets within Central- and East Europe. At the Mölnlycke Site we produce special airlaid material and the product range covers wash gloves, soft wipes, hygiene sheet, cell cloth (Cellduk) and Libero Dry Wipes. The brands are: TENA, Tork and Libero.

About the position
As a Safety Specialist, you will provide specific knowledge and expertise of safety and regulations regarding the work environment at the Falkenberg and Mölnlycke sites. Hence, this person will need to ensure that we have the right information, competence and leadership in this area, enabling us to constantly develop and create a better and safer workplace.
You will be heavily involved in both reactive and preventive ways of working focusing on e.g. risk assessments and standards as well as investigations and reporting. You will need to be flexible in your role and spend lot of time on the shop floor, both in the Falkenberg factory and when supporting the Mölnlycke plant. The job includes identifying important, emerging safety trends and ensuring that the sites are equipped to effectively deal with these. Thus, this position has an important role in making sure we fulfil all legal obligations and comply with the local and European standards and the safety strategy of the company.
As our Safety Specialist, you will contribute by adding increased knowledge and commitment within our business at Falkenberg and Mölnlycke sites. In the scope of driving our safety work forward, education and leading trainings is an essential part. The Safety specialist supports our managers in day-to-day business on safety issues and troubleshooting to make sure our employees can work safe at all times.
What You Will Do
Develop the safety work processes towards continuously improvement and follow up on targets and KPI: s.
Ensure and conduct regular reporting in accordance with legal requirements and company standards.
Create and execute work environment surveys, measurements and risk assessments.
Run and lead trainings within your area to internal and external stakeholders.
Support to managers in daily safety issues to ensure good problem solving with a sense of urgency.
Support the organization as administrator of our incident reporting system Gensuite and lead investigations on incidents and accidents
Being involved in the Essity's RESH network together with the other Consumer Goods factories in Europe.
Participating actively in our external audits.



Who You Are
You have a genuine interest in safety and work environment matters. Motivating and leading others comes natural for you, even if they do not report to you, and you easily collaborate and communicate a message to others. Additionally, this role requires that you are disciplined and work well with details. Also, you have great analytical capabilities and enjoy problem solving, which is a recurring task due to business need e.g., in terms of new tools or ways of working.
Apart from above, you also have:
Experience from safety work, e.g. as safety coordinator or as a manager working with safety in a production environment.
Leadership’s skills and an interest to run presentations/educations.
Capacity to independently identify requirements and drive actions.
A sense of urgency and excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English
