SAINT-GOBAIN SYSTEMS AND SOLUTIONS

To strengthen the ability to find superior and solutions for the construction market, Saint-Gobain is creating a new team focusing on transversal solutions and constructions on the Nordic market. The aim is to optimise the use of resources, the design phase, facilitates logistics and the mounting process. This includes incorporating the strong trend of digitalisation as well as development of new service concepts.


THE ROLE

As head of the systems and solutions team you are the main driver for transversal solutions and is the interface between RnD, strategic marketing and business development. Your first focus will be on building a strong systems and solutions team. Today the team consists of three RnD engineers but will grow. You are expected to draw a plan for the needs in terms of developing and testing facilities included design capabilities within the team. You will propose a structure for a portfolio of projects for the different Business Units.

The responsibility and work includes to:
* Put into place a systems and solutions team.
* Organise a process for service development.
* Lead and structure development projects for system optimisation.
* Participate with R&D directors of construction products to identify value-adding work on system
developments.
* Work with building physics competencies (in house or out of house) to secure the properties of the
finalise result.
* Organise inter and external exchange on current system portfolio.


CANDIDATE PROFILE

We are looking for candidates with a strong innovation management background with experience and proven track record on innovation design and developing systems. Masters Degree required in engineering, design or related field.

Experience from user driven design and confirmed skills around innovation design is preferred as well as knowledge on ergonomic and human centred mounting processes.

Fluency in oral and written English and one of the Nordic languages is mandatory.

You must be able to travel within the Nordic countries on a regular basis. The applicant must be settled in the Oresund region.
