We are currently looking for a Sales Analyst to an exciting opportunity with our client Samsung! This is a consultancy opportunity a contract starting as soon as possible until further notice.

About the role:

What will this role achieve?
As the business grows, processes need to develop and new, smarter ways of working is required in order to efficiently drive the business forward. You will be an integral part of driving this development and taking our processes to the next level.

Key deliverables:
Communicating sales and marketing insights for HA product groups by driving and providing conclusions based on external and internal sources, analysis and evaluation. Working with capturing business requirements, improving and defining new processes and creating data strategies. Move beyond analysis and reach for action, in order to increase efficiency and performance.

Job Scope? 

• Evaluate sell-out data and trends
• Daily sell out reports
• Internal data such as profitability, return on investment etc.
• Market insight reports (e.g. GfK reports)
• Consumer Market Insights (e.g. Kantar Reports)
• Global trend reports as shared by global teams
• Competitor and promotion analysis based on publically available data.
• Identify and manage various sources of data and information. Translate data into insights to guide strategic decision making across the HA organization
• Communicate insights in a clear and concise manner and in a way that drives action and make impact
• Develop tools and processes to improve capability across the team and make it visual and impactful
• Proactively lead the analysis work to address business needs, opportunities & issues
• Provide feedback, insights and recommendations for improving Samsung HA business performance and profitability
• Ensure deliverables with clear actionable recommendation and drive action to contribute toward commercialized ideas and customer team success
• Translate business requirements into process and system specifications, data flows and implementation roadmaps
• Creating concept reports/dashboards and data models
• Ad hoc support and facilitation of BI activities

Your profile:

Qualifications & Experience

• University degree is a must, major in business administration, economics, statistics, engineering or similar
• Minimum 3 years in similar role, eg Business Analyst, Business Controller, BI Power user, Market Intelligence Analyst, etc
• Considerable experience in data validation and cross reference comparisons
• Industry knowledge is a big plus
• Experience from a matrix organization is a merit

 

Skills

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with experience of translating data from multiple sources into intuitive reports through data visualization
• Comfort and experience with BI, database and statistical languages (e.g. SQL, DAX, Python, R, M)
• Data -modeling, -transformation and -design experience.
• Advanced Excel competence is a must
• Tableau, Qlik Sens, Power BI or similar BI system knowledge is key
• Fluent in English
