Job Description
Do you want to develop business in cutting edge electrification of heavy transport? Do you want to contribute to enabling fossil free living within one generation by powering and contributing to all energy aspects of our customers’ lives and business? Then join Vattenfall’s Network Solutions team as a Business Developer.
At Vattenfall Network Solutions we drive the electrification and decarbonization of heavy transport. We provide our customers with the needed charging facilities, electrical equipment and battery storage solutions based on our Power-as-a-Service model, where Vattenfall develop, own and operate the full charging system.


Your position
We are looking for a Business Developer in Stockholm SE area to drive our business development and sales for heavy transport vehicles. Your work will be focused on the Swedish market, but you will be part of an international team of business developers and technical experts excited about innovative and entrepreneurial projects which contributes to an electrified future.
More specifik about you responsibilities
Drive the business development and sales activities in Sweden towards the heavy transport segments.
Identify and act on business opportunities.
Pipeline management by developing sales plans for heavy transport for Sweden.
Manage and build strong relationships with customers to ensure continuous commitment and expand our business pipeline.
Gain deep market insight and work closely with the international team to inspire development of market-sided innovation initiatives across our markets.
Negotiate contracts, coordinate and manage technical and commercial bid preparation.
Share and secure market know-how and expertise within the organization.
Coordinate various stakeholders, both internally and externally working with suppliers, customers and contractors.



Qualifications
Being a proactive professional with an open mindset is key for the role of our next Business Developer. As you will build long-term relationships with different stakeholders, you are a strong communicator that feels comfortable with taking ownership of our sales and market development in Sweden.


Besides these competences, we believe that you have the following skills:
• Relevant Bachelor or Master degree (e.g. finance, business, engineering or others)
• Experience and excellent understanding of sales and business development
• Ability to build strong customer relationships
• Open to and excited about new technologies and challenges
• Ability to make an impact
• Wanting to be part of a ‘start-up’ environment within Vattenfall group
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken


Additionally, the following experiences would be merited:
• Sales experience from e-mobility, charging solutions or electrical infrastructure
• Experience from the bus sector or haulage/ logistics sector
• Legal understanding of contracts and ability to negotiate
