Surface Technology has a Product portfolio based upon an advanced steel strip coating process. The Products sets the industry standard as a key component used in various applications within Hydrogen society. Hydrogen and renewables are important areas and are keys to lower the world’s usage of fossil fuels. It is viewed as a very strategic area for Alleima going forward.
We are now seeking to strengthen our business with a Sales & Marketing Manager for our Surface Technology business - someone who wants to take an active part in the commercialization of profitable growth within the renewable energy segment.



Your Role
The role includes full responsibility in the commercial area. As a commercial leader you are expected to capture market opportunities, develop existing business, and generate profitable growth.
As a part of Surface Technology management team, you will work closely with the entire organization to support and take the lead in our business development. Implementation of business strategy, negotiations, pricing models and the establishment of long-term business relationships are expected in the role. In addition, as a member of the management team, you will set strategic and tactical goals.
It is a new role and it will require the development and implementation of commercial structures, processes, operational work based on a strategic approach. You need to have good communication skills, in both English and Swedish and furthermore leadership experience is required as it includes both direct and indirect reports globally.
The location for this position is somewhat flexible, but presence in Sandviken, Sweden, at least two to four days a week is expected. International travel is a natural part of the job.
You will report directly to our Business Unit Manager, Surface Technology.



About You
We are looking for someone with a university degree, and experience of technical sales or with relevant qualifications acquired through documented experience.
In this position, you need both technical knowledge and good business acumen. You understand industrial business, B2B, and have experience in both direct and project sales. You have proved success in sales, structured strategy approach and business development. Experience of fast-growing businesses is advantageous.
We see you as a self-motivated team-player who sets the team first combined with your empowering and inspiring leadership skills.
As we operate in Sweden and in an international business environment, your communication skills in Swedish and English are excellent, both verbally and in writing. Further language skills are seen as a merit.
