Westermo is looking for a Global Sales and Business Development Manager Process Automation Networks
Westermo is technology provider for automation networks in process industries like Oil and Gas, Pulp and Paper, Metals, Minerals, Chemicals and Marine. The recent year, we have attracted a number of new global customers and consequently our market position has strengthened substantially. We now want to leverage on this success on a global scale for specific regional markets and for targeted international players. The overall goal is now to enhance the growth pace of process industry network sales by managing existing global accounts and identifying, capturing and developing new international and local customers. Westermo has local sales units in both EMEA, Asia and North America.
In this role you will implement a strong sales leadership by creating and developing a shared vision in a globally distributed sales team. You will be responsible for keeping the sales team focused on working towards the vision and reach mutually agreed targets. This goes for the respective local market and for targeted global accounts.
You will foster a culture of information and best practices sharing between local sales units. You will also be responsible to grow team skills and competencies using tangible development targets for the sales engineers by working in close cooperation with local Westermo Sales Managers.
You will drive monthly sales pipeline and opportunity follow ups of Process Automation Network business within the Westermo Group and implement regional sales programs by developing field sales action plans together with local units. You will drive operational sales goals and milestones through a close working relation with local sales managers.
Another key area is to monitor competitor offerings and market prices and feed information and market requirements to local sales units and Westermo Product Management.
You report to the Westermo VP for Global Industries.
Qualifications and Personal Skills
We are looking for a person that can combine sales drive with business development! This requires a person that can combine structure and intra-preneurship! Key to success is strong goal orientation with a winning attitude, working towards corporate, team goals and personal goals in a structured manner. We need you to have a solid business acumen and be savvy in international business with a globe trotter attitude. You have a Master’s Degree in Engineering and/or in Business Administration. We expect you to have at least 10 years experience in value based selling and have a long experience from international sales in a process industry environment. The international business environment requires you are highly skilled in professional communication in English. An additional language is a valuable merit.
