Business Unit Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger (BU GPHE) is now looking for a Sales Developer for Process Industry.

You are an important part of an agile team based in our headquarters in Lund (Sweden). You enjoy travelling globally, about 20-30 days/year. You will report to the Global Sales Manager.
About the job
As Sales Developer for Process Industry, you will work in a truly international environment, playing a crucial role in growing and developing our market-leading position within global energy efficiency. Together with your colleagues Sales Developers, you will be in the driver's seat to set the direction, develop our plans and offerings, and implement actions to drive continued growth and increased market share. In close collaboration with our colleagues in local Sales Companies, you will improve their market strategies for sales and application development and support them in their drive towards our goals.
Key responsibilities include:


Spot new opportunities and new potential development areas
Drive all stages of the sales process, technically and commercially
Support our sales companies in selecting, designing, and optimizing the best plate heat exchanger solutions matching our customers' needs
Stay on top of the latest developments in the Process Industry and Energy world
Run application and heat exchanger design trainings for our sales engineers
Identify needs for product development and support the development of them
Set up marketing activities for selected markets and industries

Background
The energy demand and the need for raw materials is higher than ever. These industries are undergoing a major transformation, driven by the need for more sustainable and more energy efficient ways of producing.
Alfa Laval's plate heat exchangers are a key enabler for making this transformation reality. We have a long history and are the world leader in this field. Still, there is plenty of work to be done though, for which we need more talented and engaged people. Being part of the solution of making this world a better place is a fantastic and exciting position to be in.
What you know
You have a record of successfully managing and developing technical sales in an international business-to-business environment. You are passionate about what you do and have a genuine interest in technical sales. You have a chemical or mechanical engineering degree and an interest in thermal design. You are an excellent communicator generally, and especially in English, both verbal and in writing.
