What you'll do
Alongside service sales activities, this role will be the technical consultant to internal stakeholders and external customers on all service-related matters for bioprocess equipment. This role is field-based in the UK, Ireland or Sweden.
Lead growth of service sales in UKI/Nordics region through creating and maintaining long term customer relationships/satisfaction
Identify, develop and successfully close sales opportunities
Build close and long-lasting relationship with customers’ key opinion leaders on all service-related matters for bioprocess hardware
Secure revenue for your assigned territory by actively building a sales pipeline of bioprocess parts, contracts and billable services technical trends to be able to offer next generation service solutions to bioprocess customers
Planning, development, implementation and follow up of sales and activity plans, key account plans and other sales development activities, together with other stakeholders like Hardware Sales Specialists, Account Managers, Global Strategic Account Managers, etc
Closely work with Field Service Engineers, BioProcess Project Leaders and Service Account Managers and make sure your technical hands-on abilities stay on a high level
Partner with Service Sales to develop a commercial offering that meets customers’ needs
Lead the technical and service-related discussion with customer Subject Matter Experts, hold product and scientific presentations and represent Cytiva at relevant conferences in your territory
Discuss and support the execution of upgrades for bioprocess hardware
Document continuously progress of projects in related Customer Relationship Management tool.
Highlight contingencies and opportunities to secure accurate forecast and budget information
Who you are
Fluency in English and ideally in Swedish or Danish (spoken and written) paired up with passion and ability to work in a multi-culture working environment
University degree in biosciences/ biotechnology and/or Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, biochemical engineering or biology, alternatively 10+ years active hands-on experience in delivering bioprocess service to customers
Strong knowledge, background and hands-on experience of bioprocess service
Strong commercial acumen or willingness to develop the needed skills to develop sales opportunities up to successful closure
Willingness to regular travel according to business needs (min 50% of your time)
Excellent oral presentation and technical writing skills
Good interpersonal communication as well as solid project management skills
This position requires a high degree of self-motivation and prioritization skills
The ideal candidate must also have a talent for getting along with and working productively with a variety of highly motivated sales personalities in a matrix environment
