Elastisys is a fast growing technology company that builds open source, cloud-native software, provides managed services and professional services on the technical frontlines of the cloud native ecosystem. At Elastisys we work with some of the most exciting companies in the nordics, assisting them with our expertise within Kubernetes security, compliance, and operations.
Elastisys was founded in 2011, and we launched our managed Compliant Kubernetes service in 2019. We are a rapidly growing company and we currently have over 35 employees, primarily working from our Umeå and Lund offices located in Sweden.
We are experiencing high growth in both managed services and professional services and we are looking to expand our sales team with a Sales Development Representative. The primary mission will be to increase our managed services customer base in primarily the nordics but also the extended EU market.

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) position is a starting position for new people in the complex B2B sales world. At Elastisys SDRs will have the opportunity to grow and work on opportunities together with more senior sales executives. We also offer the opportunity for SDRs to take on more and more responsibilities and we have an internal goal that every SDR should eventually become a sales executive when they have acquired the required skills.

Who we are looking for:
We are open to someone junior with a business savvy mindset. Perhaps you already worked a few years in sales and want to get started with complex B2B sales or perhaps you are fresh out of business school. The most important thing is that you are prepared to learn and develop with the company.
You should be comfortable in customer conversations. You will, on a daily basis, prospect for new customers. Sales Development Representatives are responsible for filling Elastisys sales pipeline with qualified leads. SDRs might also contact inbound leads, take the lead on discovery calls and work together with more senior colleagues to close deals. SDRs will work with the technical presales team in sales calls, write proposals and drive opportunities with the guidance of more senior colleagues. SDRs will get an increasing amount of responsibility for the entire sales process with growing experience and expertise eventually transitioning into a junior Sales Executive position.
Experience from the IT industry, cloud or Kubernetes is a big plus. Being at a professional level in Finnish, or any major European language (German, French, Italian, Spanish etc) is a bonus, but by no means a must.
As a person you are driven, independent and result oriented. In addition you are a good listener, a real team player and have great communication skills - especially in English. For the right person, this is an excellent opportunity to both gain deep technical knowledge and experience from fun and exciting B2B sales. As a sales development representative you will have the opportunity to grow into more responsibilities with time and eventually transition into a more senior role in the sales division of Elastisys.
You will report directly to our sales manager.
Location: Preferable Lund or Umeå, for the right candidates fully remote is an option. This position might require some amount of travelling post-Covid.
