Work description
The sales organisation within Buses & Coaches consists of 2 teams handling different global regions with a total of 18 employees. You will be part of the Buses & Coaches Management team and will report to Senior Vice President, Head of Buses & Coaches.

As Sales Director, you will face a variety of tasks and responsibilities:


• Setting plans and actions to ensure that the bus & coach business will deliver on the sales volumes and profitability targets
• Based on the aligned Common Commercial Strategies, you will have the overall responsibility for the RTA – Round Table Agreement process and roll-out, that will define the short/medium term focused activities to be executed together with all our Business Units
• Systematically follow up on the targets set and act on deviations
• Follow trends and identify new business possibilities and customer demands
• Ensuring our business units are investing in, believing in and focusing on the bus business
• Contribute to Buses & Coaches being the best place to work in Scania

Together with your team you will work closely together with other parts of Buses & Coaches as well as the Business Units in order to secure our long term growth with profitability. It is important to underline that you will have a consistent overall life cycle profitability holistic approach and view, not only for the Buses & Coaches business area, but rather optimizing the business as a whole for Scania. You will have many interfaces, internal as well as external.

Your profile
We are looking for a person that have a strong and well proven leadership. You are consistently guiding your team towards reaching your targets, while focusing on a strong team. You have a deep commercial understanding, a passion for understanding our customers business and enjoy working with different cultures. You are resilient, enjoying a high pace commercial environment where you often make priorities based on what is best for our business. You are communicative and familiar with communicating to various stakeholders, both internally and externally.

As a person, we believe you are driven, structured, goal oriented and enjoy continuously delivering results. You also enjoy travelling and the expected number of travelling days in this position is about 80 days per year.

You have a commercial or technical university degree. Experience in leadership is mandatory, experience in Scania as an organisation as well as bus within the commercial area is meriting. You master English, additional language is meriting.
