Geographically, the market is evolving as well, combining the traditionally strong markets with rising economies with strong technological focus.

With that, NIRA is in a phase where we continue to develop. We need to reach the new markets, introduce new products, while maintaining a focus on our core products and current customers - we are after all the leading supplier of indirect tire pressure monitoring worldwide! To lead this, we are looking for a Sales Director for our business unit Vehicle Onboard Analytics.

Your team

We operate on a global market, and the sales team at Vehicle Onboard Analytics is distributed over Sweden, Germany, China, Japan and Brazil. You lead this team in all aspects, from sales strategies to business development and day to day operative sales activities.

You are a part of the management team at Vehicle Onboard Analytics and report to the business unit manager. As part of the management team you will work in tight cooperation with the managers of technical development and customer adaptations.

This is what you will do

As sales director for Vehicle Onboard Analytics your primary responsibilities will be

- Global sales of the products from Vehicle Onboard Analytics, TPI (Tire Pressure Indicator), LWI (Loose Wheel Indicator) as well as upcoming products not yet on the market.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and goals for the respective products.
- Operational management of day to day sales.
- Identify and implement operational improvements within sales.
- Provide the organization with sales data, market information and forecasts for business development and business planning.
- Negotiations with customers.
- Continuously build and improve the performance of the team members.
- Coordination with Marketing & Communication and sales at the Road Perception business unit.

Who are you?

You are a person who acts from a holistic perspective upon organization, competitors and external environments in terms of utilizing key business drivers. You are customer-oriented in your decision-making regarding solutions that address client needs, both internal or external clients. You work according to a clear process, finish what has been started and keep to deadlines. Structure is important, but you also have the ability to question and challenge the way of working. You establish credibility in your relations, develop new relationships and strengthen existing ones by actively interact with others. You relate to people in an open way and you are aware of your strengths and weaknesses and when help is needed from others to achieve set goals.

Other required qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years experience from technical B2B sales.
- Experience of operational responsibility in terms of managing a team and/or responsible for budget and result.
- Experience of working in an international context.
- Fluency in English written and spoken
- Preferably Master’s or Bachelor’s degree.

Experience from automotive industry, negotiation, change management and staff responsibility is meritorious.
