Sales Engineer Reports to Regional Sales Manager Hay Grade Purpose of the Job Sells Energyst?s solutions, and maintains relationships with a number of key and core accounts in a given territory or segment that are of significant importance to Energyst whilst prospecting for new key customers. Key Responsibilities ? Lead the sales activity; acquire prospects, expand and retain regional customers, draft proposals and negotiate and close contracts; work in partnerships with customers in order to gain understanding of requirements and deliver best in class solutions ? Identify relevant lapsed accounts and potential additional accounts and implement strategy to ensure business and business potential ? Effectively present and represent as the face of Energyst ? Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts ? Act as second line on cash collection: work together with sales support on this ? Act as a resource to develop the strategic thinking for the management team of the Region ? Gain understanding of the customers business and specific needs, and how our turnkey solutions best fits in the context of their business ? Assess, on an ongoing basis, the quality of delivery of solutions to address short and long term customers needs ? Plan project to ensure both financial and commercial viability ? Provide input into marketing initiatives related to customer acquisition ? Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events ? Provide adequate and timely reports (financial, timesheets, etc.) and input for the sales forecast ? Initiate after-sales support services ? Close out phase, ready for business phase and ready for use business phase Key Performance Indicators ? Realization of targeted profitable revenue, at budgeted DVP margin and DCC target or above in a range of EURO 1 to 3 million revenue (set on an individual basis) ? Conversion rate of enquiries into orders (set on an individual basis) ? Ensure high customer satisfaction Dimensions ? The OPEX budget is ? 69 mln. ? The CAPEX budget is ?6 mln. ? Total number of staff working for the company 225 fte ? The company is represented in Europe, Latin America and Africa and includes significant projects around Educational level and needed knowledge and skills Desired educational level and experience ? Requires a bachelor degree or its equivalent in sales, marketing or engineering ? +2 years sales experience preferably in the industrial services business or rental business, related products, geographic area or customer base Other relevant knowledge or skills ? Has excellent, influencing and relationship building skills, with all level of individuals ? Proven drive and ability to sell ideas/opportunities/concepts ? Strong project management and presentation skills ? Awareness on of P&L accounting ?
