Our founders are some of the best white hat hackers in the world and they've legally hacked tech giants like Google and Facebook. We even have some of the world's top-ranked white-hat hackers working with us, not only through our crowdsource community but also in our development teams.

With this experience, we've built a cutting-edge automated website vulnerability scanner to help customers secure their web applications and fix vulnerabilities before they are discovered by malicious hackers. We want organizations and developers to learn about the security risks in their own code and improve it while getting more time to do what they love; building awesome products.

In addition to our internal security research team, we collaborate with 150+ handpicked white-hat hackers. We automate this knowledge through our tool to ensure it is the most up-to-date security service in the world. We are trusted by some of the biggest and most widely known companies in the world, such as King, Trello and Spotify. We believe this takes us one step closer to making the internet a more secure place for all its users.

The role

As a Sales Engineer, you will join our Sales team and jump straight into guiding clients on how to improve their web security. Our sales team continuously initiates new dialogues with great companies to help them understand how they can use Detectify to improve their organization’s security. You will analyze clients’ technical and organizational needs and guide them into a modern way of working with security. Your tasks will also include solving issues relating to clients’ technical set-up and communicating suggestions to different stakeholders. You will have great opportunity to shape the role of your own, set the frameworks and constantly evolve the role and its possibilities.

Detectify is looking for

You have a background in the software industry. Preferably you also have some knowledge about API programming or scripting and are able to mediate this in a trustworthy way. You have either gained your technical knowledge from past experience within programming or from working in a similar sales role. As a person, you are committed, driven, independent and can easily communicate your ideas through presentations, demos and whiteboard sessions. You are a creative person with the ability to manage many things at once and also have excellent English skills, written and spoken.

Please note that this is not a support position, but you will rather act as an extension of our sales representatives and both help clients with your technical knowledge and collect feedback for our product roadmap.
