The role
Product Adaptations are important tools in Scania's strategy to provide customised vehicles to our customers, solutions with that very product edge that can make a deal tip over in our favor. The team is responsible for offering these unique customer solutions as S-orders and FFU.
You will be part of the team who are the interface between our business units worldwide and the head office and we are now looking for a team oriented player to join our diverse group.
In this stimulating and challenging role, where technology and customer demands meet every day you will have the opportunity to get in contact with many different parts and stakeholders both external and internal. You will have frequent international contacts which also includes possibilities to travel.
The tasks
• Together with R&D find the right technical solutions to fulfil our customers’ requirements
• Support our sales teams around the world in complex tenders and S-orders
• Participate as the Sales and Marketing representative in S-order development projects
• Pricing of the offered solutions
• Actively work to evaluate and monitor S-order solutions
• Playing a key role in providing knowledge to understand our customers’ requirements and making it possible to maximize sales of current products
• Understanding new trends and requirements in the markets to be able to communicate this to our product planners so that we develop competitive products for the future
Your profile and experiences
We want you to have an interest in our products and how they come to life in the hands of our customers. We believe that you are flexible and able to handle several questions and projects in parallel. You have excellent communication skills and that you are highly motivated by finding the best solution for our customers and by improving our processes. Commercial/technical background and a relevant university degree or similar experience is required as well as an excellent English both in writing and verbally.
