POSITION SUMMARY:
The sales engineer will focus on identifying, developing and maintaining excellent relationships to regional customers and advise and consult them to maintain and develop business by implementing solutions from Hach Lange.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for growing sales revenue within region
- Sales of products (mainly online water analyses instrumentation) and services to industrial customers (pulp and paper, power etc.) and to (waste) water treatment plants
- Consult with customers on water treatment optimisation solutions
- Execute regional action plan to drive growth within region

Who are you?
CRITICAL COMPETENCIES / SUCCESS FACTORS
- Proven commercial skills
- Strong communication & influencing skills
- Knowledge and experience with (industrial) water- and wastewater treatment processes is preferred
- Experience in managing waste water treatment optimization projects is preferred
- Ability to identify and consult with different level of decision makers
- Ability to quickly establish significant credibility, trust and support within all levels of the customers’ organization
- Ability to develop and implement creative solutions for customers
- Proven track record of sales and territory management, capable of working independently and as part of a team

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, process technology is preffered
- Min. 5 years experience in sales in a B2B environment with a proven track record
- Experience with water treatment processes or systems
- High degree of self-organization and structure
- Ability to travel within the region for 3-4 days a week, including appr. 40 overnight stays
- Working from home office
- Characteristics: entrepreneurial, independent, driven
