Work description: This role will specifically be focussed on supporting and helping to support all of indirect sales channels, primarily via with phone and remote demonstrations but also requiring a degree of travel across EMEA, for local support to specific sales opportunities. This role is designed to help position our vision of Predictive Analytic solutions for their clients and prospects and to show how this helps them to address their own business needs. This is achieved by a close working relationship between Sales Engineering and the Sales Representatives to build and execute a pre-sales plan. It is expected that the Sales Engineer would take the lead in scoping and demonstrating how the company's solutions would address specific needs (of the customer), in close partnership with our direct sales team to help discover how the solutions would fit and be deployed in their customer's environment. This role is expected to be able to complete hands on demonstrations of several products and have a good understanding of the other 'solutions' & the specific domains in which they are applied. Travel for on-site customer work will be required. Responsibilities: . Ownership of the client relationship at the appropriate level(s), e.g. technical sponsor. . Develop relationships with key client personnel. . Identify and understand client's business needs and plans, articulate those to the business users, and identify and formulate the solutions. . Manage client expectations. . Tailor and present the Predictive Analytics vision to client and prospects. . Build and present predictive analytics programme roadmap for clients and prospects. . Collaborate with other groups, i.e. Consulting, during the sales cycle. . Assist sales in responding to customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs). . Manage proof of concept testing and evaluations. . Responsible for maintaining an understanding of relevant technologies, vendors, partners of the company and to the degree possible competitors. . Liaise with country marketing to deliver seminars and PR briefing. Extension of work: Fulltime, permanent. You will be employed directly by the company. Ideally a bachelor's degree in Applied Statistics, Data Mining or equivalent containing a strong numerical component, or equivalent work experience or equivalent work experience . Ideally experience in a presales position, in a customer facing environment with software, or consulting services, provider. . Experience of projects that involve integrating multiple technologies and datasets to solve a business problem. . Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills, both in Swedish and in English. . It is a plus if you are able to speak and write Danish.
