About the job
You take the global responsibility for orchestrating change and driving strategy implementation in all our Sales Areas – connecting with, coaching, and supporting our organization and key stakeholders at all levels. You’re an important member of our Global Sales Management team and have a large stake in managing adherence to our company and sales strategies.
If we dig more into detail, this includes:
Training, coaching and challenging the Sales Areas’ General Managers and their management teams during the implementation of change plans.
Taking accountability for the overall results of the program – implementing assessments and evaluations, tools, process reviews and system development..
Driving the development and implementation of the change program in all Sales Areas and teams within Global Sales.
Leading the team designing the infrastructure and roll out plan for the program on a frontline level.
Managing cross-functional initiatives related to strategy implementation.
Ensuring reporting and maintaining active communication – including tracking and following up progress of activities and results with key stakeholders
The location for this position is flexible globally, with a preference for Europe. It includes significant travel – expect more than 100 travel days annually. You report directly to the Vice President of Global Sales at Sandvik Coromant.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a background in sales and significant managerial experience, driving operational improvements and change management. You’re an engaging and motivating project manager, your background includes experience of Lean implementations and profit and loss responsibility. You have a relevant university degree, or the equivalent knowledge gained from a working career. As we work in an international setting, good written and verbal English skills is needed.
As an experienced and confident leader, you’re good at coaching and supporting people, as well as facilitating discussions and working things through. You’re curious, entrepreneurial and outgoing, and at the same time very strategic, organized and analytical. By combining these skills with a strong personal drive, you ensure success in our function. You have high business acumen and an innovative mindset, helping you adapt to changes and facilitate transformation. With your excellent communication skills, you’re good at handling stakeholders at multiple levels of an organization and building strong relationships based on trust and transparency.
