The Motors & Generators Service Responsible Unit in Sweden provides services and aftersales support to the worldwide installed base of large motors and generators manufactured in Västerås. We work together with ABB units around the world to serve customers and end-users of our motors and generators. Enabling customers to properly care for their motors and generators throughout a long and reliable life is a great contribution to sustainability in the market. In the role of Sales Manager your customers will be global, and your team is covering the world. Your focus is to provide your customers with an optimal lifecycle experience from ABB motors and generators.
You will lead the team of 5 direct reports and combine it with covering one global region or market yourself, providing great opportunities for international experience.
Your responsibilities
Heading up the sales team that is responsible to sell and promote the entire service portfolio for large motors and generators.
Growing top line sales by proactive and strategic sales efforts by yourself and your team, is your main target.
Responsibility for setting and achieving annual sales budgets and breaking these down per account and team member.
Developing systematic sales activities and forecast with accuracy are essential to meet and exceed the targets.
As the role is partially operational a high say-do ration and leadership by example, are crucial.
Assurance of full compliance to ABB code of conduct and integrity as well as health and safety standards.

Your background
University degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
At least 5 years’ experience in sales with sales management, is seen as a plus.
Service-minded attitude and strong customer focus.
Structured and communicative personality with full commitment to integrity.
Good product knowledge of ABB synchronous motors & generators, and their applications, is a strong advantage.
