Sales Manager

Our customer is a major supplier of laboratory equipment in Europe with head office in the Netherlands. They are now ready to increase there presence in the Swedish market. Job description: The position requires travel in the southern/middle parts of Sweden, and there may also be travel to Denmark to some extent . You will work closely with the office manager, whom is situated in the Markaryd area. Your primary responsibilities will be creating new business and maintaining existing customer base. This position will give you the opportunity to make a major impact in a focused and growth oriented organization. Experience, qualifications and education A minimum of 5 years outside sales experience is required BA or MA degree within the chemistry/laboratory field is desirable Knowledge of laboratory supplies Excellent verbal- and writing skills in Swedish and English You will also need to have business skills and commercial awareness. Strong motivational skills and good management ability is just as important as to be initiative and enthusiastic for this position. Furthermore, it is crucial to have the ability to work calmly under pressure. Expectations Our customer expects readiness to travel, which means that you will be provided certain means to make this possible for you. However, you will have the opportunity to work from home to some extent. We prefer you to live within a reasonable distance to Markaryd, so that you will be able to visit the office frequently.
