We are looking for a Sales Manager to the newly established company Global Load Out Solutions AB, a new entity in the Volvo Group. The new company will focus on accelerating the commercialization of a set of Volvo innovations within material logistics. These digital services will support our customers to improve workflow, transparency of data, boost profitability and reduce environmental impact. We will build this company together and you will be part of the journey from the very start. Your impact will definitely make a difference!
As a Sales Manager you will be part of an international team devoted to expanding our market and solving our customers pains. An increasing number of companies set targets connected to the climate agenda and to reduce carbon emissions, as well as moving into a digital operation to achieve higher transparency and efficiency – but for many the transformation path is not clear and needs guidance and good examples. And this is where you come in! We will work with several channels to meet our customers and you will be a part of developing these channels; direct sales where you are out meeting customers and identifying the best solution for them, but also partner sales where we need to train and support sales partners in different parts of the world – so what’s your ideas on how to do that in an efficient way? You work together with our Business Development manager with content/sales messaging and supporting our marketing management. Another important go-to person for you is the Product owner to discuss best practices @ customers and sometimes go together in discussions with customers. You will be part of co-creating our path with a large degree of freedom in a dynamic and international environment.
Who we think you are
We believe you have a university degree, from Engineering or Business in combination with experience from B2B technical sales. We would love for you to have a background in the heavy construction industry in companies or projects working with mass-excavation or quarries. You are comfortable to work in both Swedish and English with customers and contracts. Winning confidence and building relations comes natural to you. Other experiences you might have in your backpack could be experience of B2B Service solutions, work in a growing and fast-scaling business and/or value stream mapping. You would describe yourself as the person who close the deal. You have a strong self-drive and want to have an impact in the organization you chose to belong to.
