Division Service in Finspong needs a new Sales manager for Long Term Programs.

Maintenance concepts and Long Term Programs have become more and more important to support our new sales of gas and steam turbines.For many customers, reliable maintenance concepts and long term maintenance commitments are equally important for their final selection of equipment as the features of the new equipment itself.

The Long Term Programs contribute with substantial revenues for extensive periods and give us at Siemens unique opportunities for long term planning and budgeting, but most of all they give us the opportunity to establish long and close relationships with our customers.

Since one of our present sales managers will retire during 2010, our ambition is to find a successor well in advance; This, in order to ensure a smooth introduction and transition of tasks and responsibilities for ongoing projects.The main objective with this position is to support sales of new equipment by providing competitive quotations for Long Term Programs adapted for specific projects and to provide various types of information, presentations and support, as may be required.

This is a highly independent position that will involve several external and internal contacts.In order to be successful, communication skills, own initiatives, flexibility, self motivation and a lot of energy will be required.

The following qualifications are considered important to fulfill this position:

*Engineering degree, preferably at the university level
*Minimum of 5 years experience from sales and marketing of complex products, preferably related to power plants
*Basic knowledge of power plants, particularly gas and steam turbines
*Capability to communicate and express yourself fluently in English (verbally and in writing), also preferably in Swedish
*Capability to communicate professionally in either German, Spanish or French is of merit.
