Job description
We are looking for a Sales Manager within the Automotive business, who enjoys working in a complex and challenging global environment, where your ability to see the big picture as well as the small pieces of the puzzle is a must.
The position is located in our Gothenburg office, and you will be a part of a highly motivated, dedicated, and multidisciplinary team of project management, engineering and sales professionals.
Together with the team you will be our primary interface, representing Benteler in front of the customer and communicating the customer’s interests internal Benteler, with the mission to secure a long-term profitable growth for the aluminium business.
In addition to being a great team player, having a high degree of people skills and business acumen, and in light of the focus towards aluminium products we believe it’s equally important that you have a good technical and engineering understanding.
Since you will work closely with our customers, travel and on-site support will be required.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies, budget planning and sales forecasts
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, either based on existing products or introducing new products and technology concepts fulfilling market and product trends.
Responsible for sales activities in all project phases from quotation through development and series production to end of service
Develop strong and profitable business cases as well as post project analysis
Maintain running business and identifying cost saving ideas
Qualifications
Bachelor/Master of Science in relevant area or equivalent work experience
Fluent in Swedish (written and spoken). Highly proficient in spoken and written English
Team player: open-minded, collaborative, ready to help out/support when needed.
Strong communication and networking skills
Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized
Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
Strong sense of urgency
Driver’s licence
Previous experience from the automotive industry is an advantage
