High Voltage Instrument Transformers is a business unit within Hitachi ABB Power Grids located in Ludvika. The unit has worldwide Hitachi ABB Power Grids responsibility for the development, production and sale of high voltage instrument transformers. High voltage plays an important role in reliable and energy efficient power systems.
For our Marketing, Sales and Product Management team, understanding the full potential of our technology and the trends in our markets is highly rewarding. In addition, helping customers all over the world improve efficiency, save resources and reduce emissions gives our work a powerful sense of purpose.
You will proactively lead, develop and coach the High Voltage Instrument Transformers Sales team in Ludvika. You will adapt and implement Sales strategies in accordance with the global strategy.
Your responsibilities
In this exciting roll as Sales Manager you will be responsible to reach/exceed budget for order received and keep profitability levels.
Drive the sales team, coaching and motivating them to reach their goals in a structured approach.
Implement the sales strategy and prepare market analyses with inputs from the HUB Europe organization and the Global Product Group.
Assume responsibility for tender management of the LTB product line with your team.
Support the product marketing manager, globally operating Product Marketing Managers, as well as local front-end sales organizations.
Negotiations with internal and external customers and process commercial and technical customer requests.
Prepare production forecasts and provide support in preparing sales key figures (budget).
Hold customer workshops, sales trainings, carry out regular customer visit and participate in trade fairs.

Your background
You hold a University degree in Engineering, Economics or similar.
You have previous working experience as export sales manager or similar position
Leadership experience in Sales with a proven ability to anticipate customer needs and market trends.
On a personal level, you are a self-motivated and reliable team player with an independent and result oriented working style, as well as strong communicative and collaborative skills.
As you will be working in a global environment, fluency in English, written and spoken alike is required. Understanding of Swedish language is a merit.
Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
