Ideally, this position should be based in either Stockholm or one of Kalmars' regional offices in Sweden. As part of this role, regular travel is required, and you will report directly to the Country Director for Sweden.
Main tasks and responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious team targets, ensuring that our sales efforts are aligned with our overall business objectives. You will have the opportunity to coach and mentor our talented sales representatives, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance, you will inspire and motivate the sales team to exceed their goals.
As a Sales Manager, you will be a key player in complex customer negotiations and senior management dialogues. Your expertise and insights will be crucial in driving successful outcomes and building long-term partnerships with our valued customers. You will have the opportunity to establish and nurture direct relationships with major accounts, leveraging these relationships to drive revenue growth and secure new business opportunities.
What you’ll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should bring a solid educational background, ideally with a Bachelor's degree or similar qualification in a technical or commercial field. Proven experience of at least 5 years in a managerial role, where you consistently delivered exceptional results, is essential. Your expertise in solutions sales and a strong understanding of value-based selling techniques will be critical.
Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve outstanding performance, are highly valued. A customer-centric mindset, strong networking abilities, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and outstanding communication and negotiation capabilities in both Swedish and English are key requirements for success.
