YOU WILL

As Sales Manager for Biesterfeld Nordic, you will be responsible for developing and expanding our engineering polymer sales in the Nordic and Baltic area.

Your key contribution will be as a stakeholder for business development and your ambition is to add value to the organization and drive development both strategically and operatively. Part of your responsibilities as Sales Manager will be managing business models and pricing, acting main stakeholder for the sales department as well as the voice of our current and future customers.

You will collaborate with our sales team and be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, negotiating deals and building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Furthermore, you will:


• Work closely with our internal departments to ensure we deliver superior customer service as well maintain profitable growth and develop sales in line with budget and strategy


• Visiting existing and new customers on a regular basis


• Ensure agreed sales targets are achieved


• Offer technical advice according to ability and experience and liaise with engineers and back office as appropriate
 
• Prepare area sales statistics for reporting and present this information internally

 

YOU ARE

We are looking for someone with a proven track record for being knowledgeable, customer and business driven with excellent skills in building trustworthy relationships. Who wants to become part of the Biesterfeld Nordic team and work towards our common goals. You are inventive, a good communicator and good at interacting with colleagues within the company as well as with external partners.

To succeed in this role, you need to be a strong individual with a can-do attitude The ideal candidate has a progressive mindset and the urge to push the limits. We want a curious outside-the-box-thinker with analytical problem-solving skills and high level of business acumen.

It is advantageous if you previously had a Sales Manager role within the plastic industry, and has proven sales record and the ability to manage existing business but also identify new opportunities and drive growth. Furthermore, you:


• Have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or chemistry or similar experience within the plastic processor market or related industry


• Understand the importance of working against demanding targets and delivering on time with quality


• Are fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken


• Have a full clean driving license.
