Your role
We seek a communicative person with ambitions to join our team and can offer you a position as sales manager for our system and product portfolio. The ideal candidate is capable to maintain a supporting customer interaction, a technical interest is an advantage, along with a willingness to acquire sufficiently deep knowledge about our line of products in order to be successful. The job includes daily customer interaction and with your business mindset, you feel comfortable with handling a wide range of topics towards our various sales channels, such as prime contractors, distributors, and sometimes end-users.
The main tasks are:
* Drive day-to-day back office sales, support and manage existing partnerships with established customers.
* Business Development to establish new sales channels and local partnerships for our system portfolio.
* Quotation work and bid management in answer to requests for proposal.
* International business travel will be required.

Your profile
Everyone at Saab TransponderTech, including the management team, is to a large extent operational. We believe that you are a team player who makes things happen and takes responsibility for the results.
Required skills:
* Experience from quotation work for highly complex technical systems
* Ability to understand client needs
* Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written
* Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
Desired skills:
* University degree or similar knowledge gained by experience
* Maritime domain knowledge
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

You will be part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team of about 60 people located at Saab's site in Hackefors, Linköping. The product portfolio consists of AIS and VDES radio transceivers and networks for land, ships, aircraft and satellites, as well as advanced navigation and presentation systems. The site includes all functions required by a small independant company within the company, from marketing and sales, to product development, production planning, customer support and logistics. Saab TransponderTech is market leading with customers world-wide, and we operate on a commercial market with relatively short sales cycles.
