Based out of our Tromsø office, the Sales and Planning Manager is responsible for connecting Pukka’s product offerings with customers by planning customized experiences for our operating locations: Tromsø & Lofoten. This is carried out through the oversight of most of the sales operations and contributing as a key driver of business.
This unique position requires a driven and enthusiastic individual with consultative sales and management skills with a passion for delivering quality service to our customers. Additionally, they are responsible for implementing and improving sales processes that emphasize customer relationship building and value creation that align with Pukka’s mission, strategy, and product offerings. As the leader of the Trip Planning team it'll be important to be able to keep an open dialogue and close collaboration with both the trip planning team as well as the enterprise teams.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Consultative Sales - Quickly build rapport with customers to create excitement and interest in products and generate sales revenue, includes probing for customer information that will enable future sales
Learning Agility – Ability to learn the business and our offerings quickly
Creative Problem Solving – Develop creative solutions that are aligned with Pukka’s logistical capabilities to meet customer needs, budgets, and limitations
Systems thinking - work with a variety of systems and partner tools to develop and plan customer experiences ensuring effective handoff with Pukka operations and our partners
Data and Performance analysis - using qualitative and quantitative metrics to understand sales performance – proactively applying consumer insights to make actionable changes within processes and optimizing communication.
Co-Creation of Product Improvement - Collaborate with operations and business development teams to identify new products and sales solutions to generate increased revenue for Pukka.
People Collaboration – working alongside others and contributing to an environment that values open communication, feedback, and personal development.

Minimum Qualifications:
2-5+ years’ experience in sales operations, particularly at growth stage startups
Fluent in oral and written English
Conversationally fluent in Norwegian
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the travel and outdoor adventure or hospitality sales industry
Experience with Hospitality Management or Booking software (i.e., Rezdy)

In-depth local knowledge and genuine interest for Pukka’s operating locations
