Sandvik Materials Technology (SMT) is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading world manufacturer of high-value-added products in stainless steel materials, special alloys, metallic and ceramic resistance materials and process systems.Product areas comprise Tube, Strip, Wire and Heating Technology, Process Systems and MedTech.We are now looking for Sales Navigators based mainly in Europe.We are offering a unique opportunity to become an integral part in the development and implementation of the SMT-working method.As a key component of the SMT Business System, this role defines and introduces new, optimal approaches within marketing and sales.Key performance areas Navigators will first develop their skills through an extensive training program including both internal and external workshops to develop a variety of competencies ranging from market strategy, customer acquisition, value creation, pricing strategies and negotiation skills to effective communication and developing change sustainability through the use of performance management tools.Main tasks will include: - Sharing these new techniques with sales team members and acting as a coach during the implementation of the business change process.Navigators' personal goals are to become proficient in all the key components of the Business System Process - Working internally to drive change using situation-adapted program design, management/leadership, evaluation, organization and competence development tools This position offers significant exposure within the SMT organization and is viewed as an important career development step and/or a key development prerequisite for future management opportunities.The Navigator assignment will require a minimum two-year commitment and will involve significant travel to implement sales transformations or pilot programs in all product areas of mainly the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa).As this position includes extensive international contacts, high levels of English are necessary. Your profile You have probably a solid experience from working with Marketing & Sales.If you also have a background either within logistics or production this is considered an advantage.You should have a strong interest in communicating and be able to do so with many different people in many different environments.To be successful in this position you should be experienced within marketing, be service-minded and possess great customer focus.
