Right now, we’re looking for an eager and courageous leader to an exciting and challenging position as Sales Operations Manager for Applied Manufacturing Technologies (AMT) – a new division within the Sandvik Group. Within AMT, we’re aiming at building a suite of digital solutions across the manufacturing value chain, and we combine the enthusiasm of a fresh start-up with the resources, tools and investment support of a well-established industry player. In a very short span of time, we’ve seen both great potential and need in the industry for our products, and we’re now embarking on a truly exiting journey going forward.

The job
In this position, you lead our AMT sales operations - from a global, regional and sales area point of view - to deliver on our ambitious objectives and strengthening our market position. Your initial mission is to get to know our business, products and technology, and to make sure we employ an innovative and engaged team of professionals to drive us towards our goals. You establish strategies, ways of working and an optimized tool box that is well adapted to market needs, and you develop our AMT sales support offer and service levels in line with inside sales, customer feedback, business technology and commercial activities. As this is a new division, creating a collaborative setting across the organization is high up on your agenda. You also have full responsibility for managing and developing our CRM-system and our customer support.


You report to the Senior Vice President and Head of Global Sales for AMT. Your home office is at Epicenter in Stockholm and some travel is included in your job, even if we mostly use digital tools for collaboration.


Your background is important
·       Solid experience from commercial or business operations management with focus on digital solutions, including knowledge of common sales tools and processes
·       A broad understanding of service desk management
·       An MBA or other relevant degree in a similar field
·       The ability to effectively start-up, manage and coach teams
·       The skills needed to successfully operate in an international and decentralized business
·       Excellent communication skills in both English and Swedish
