The supply chain is a key enabler of Axis growth, and as we grow it is vital for us to develop our supply chain to support our growth ambitions and opportunities. For our global supply chain to perform at its best, we need the best forecasting data possible. We are now looking for a Sales & Operations Planner to join our Demand Planning team at our headquarter in Lund, Sweden.
Who is your future team?
The Demand Planning team has a global responsibility for forecasting and planning the future demand for the products in Axis portfolio. The team consists of sales & operations planners, each responsible for their own product categories and geographical region. The team works in close cooperation with Material Supply, Sales, Product Management, Enterprise Sales Projects, Industrial Lead and Finance. Demand Planning is part of Axis Global Supply Chain.
What you'll do here as Sales & Operations Planner?
As a Sales & Operations Planner you will work across organizational borders to produce the best forecasting data possible for our products. Your job starts with information about historical sales, demand trends, new product introductions, upcoming sales projects, end of life plans and market knowledge for the products within your area of responsibility. You will validate and analyze this information as it is pieces of the puzzle for the demand planning process. You will cooperate with your colleagues and stakeholders to create the product forecast on a regular basis.
You will work together with your colleagues in the Demand Planning team, but also with various functions in Axis Global Supply Chain, Industrialization, Product Management, Finance, and our Sales head regions. The positions many interfaces will provide an excellent opportunity to develop a broad understanding of the Axis business, something that is important to function well in the position as a Sales & Operations Planner. Working at the Headquarter with the Global Supply Chain also makes a great opportunity to impact the work and processes. During 2022, we have introduced a new top of the art planning tool, enabling us to work in smarter ways.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Producing an Axis corporate global forecast on a regular basis
* Developing market knowledge and tracking trends, through communication and data analysis
* Tracking product portfolio changes and creating ramp up plans for new products
* Development of the forecasting process and tools to improve the demand planning process
* Analyze forecast accuracy, and take actions to improve it
* Align the forecast process with the sales budget process owned by Finance

We'd love to hear that you have:
* A Bachelor of Science in business or science related field
* Experience from supply chain disciplines, preferably in an international environment
* Experience with ERP and supply chain systems
* A sharp analytical ability
* Strong communication skills, written and verbal
* A strong drive, open mind, and the ability to contribute to development of our process and tools
Further, it is meritorious to have experience with forecasting, analytics, and contemporary digital technologies.
