We have an exciting opportunity at Polestar for a Sales Planning Analyst with a strong commercial understanding, who can work within a fast-paced and challenging scale-up organization. You will play an important role in the Polestar team, supporting Polestar in its rapid growth and expansion.
Let us describe the challenge we offer
We are looking for our second Sales Planning Analyst to join our Sales Planning & Reporting team within the Global Sales department. In this position, your focus will be on order and sales planning, forecasting, and process development as well as sales reporting and upcoming related projects.
Our Sales Planning team is responsible for ensuring that the right volume of cars is produced in the right mix, derivative and options at the right time for the right markets to enable them to achieve their sales targets. This involves tasks such as forecasting, analysis, statistics, stock, logistics, marketing, model cycles, production capacities and requirements, global and local market conditions and an understanding of how the industry works in order to add context to the figures and details and demands.
This position will be based at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.
What you'll do
As a Sales Planning Analyst at Polestar, your main focus will be:
- Order Planning, Sales Planning, and Forecasting, using for example Excel, Power BI and Qlik
- Process Development including actively support in the development of processes, - o Defining timelines etc
- Participate in developing processes and procedures, giving training sessions on the sales planning process
- Support in various tasks in setting up the sales planning department
- Sales reporting & Projects including for example:
- Participation in sales planning projects as a project analyst and subject matter expert
- Participate in the implementation of sales forecasting software
- Super user of the Power BI and participation in the development of sales reports and dashboards, through requirement specification, testing and continuous improvements.
- Develop methods for cleaning the sales data history from outliers
- Develop an external analysis tool-set to be used by the country managers in the day-to-day work
Who you are
We are looking for someone with a few years of experience handling similar types of activities, with a mindset of initiation and innovation. You have a relevant University degree within for example Business Administration or similar. The perfect match has experience in process development, as well as an analytical mindset and a can-do attitude.
As a person, you are flexible and thrive in an environment where you are expected to take your own initiatives. Attention to detail is of great importance to this role along with the ability to see past the numbers and to apply logic and knowledge to them to help determine the best course of action.
