For our Strategy and M&A team – responsible for developing strategies and processes – we’re now looking for a Sales Platform Manager to join us in an exciting environment with highly varying tasks and stakeholders all over the world. In this role, you get to define and develop your own scope and find the best possible synergies with other departments, while working with world-class products and contributing to the overall success of the Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions sales force.
Your mission
In addition to managing a global team of highly skilled professionals, you have two main responsibilities in this position; being the global owner of the sales processes within our Business Area, as well as managing the projects related to our sales systems. The former includes driving improvements of sales processes together with our sales areas and divisions and developing standard processes to drive a unified customer experience and way of working. To measure and ensure this, you work with stakeholders to develop audit criteria and scorecards. By listening and utilizing feedback from different parts of the organization, you make sure that our processes always are the industry benchmark.
You lead the strategic development work of our CRM (Salesforce), defining and implementing best practices, processes and policies for projects and programs to ensure alignment towards our strategies and goals. Partnering with different people across our organization, you find opportunities and drive relevant development projects by leading a team of project managers.
This position is based at our site in Stockholm, while other locations could be considered for the right candidate. Some occasional travel is a natural part of the job.
Your character
We’re looking for a leader with a background in both sales and project management, who understands the sales process of technically advanced products in a similar industry. We believe that you know how to use CRM systems, such as Salesforce, in a way that best supports the sales process. Your experience is backed by an appropriate university degree, and you also have in-depth knowledge of all aspects of financial analysis and experience of working with cross-functional global teams. As we operate in a global setting, you’re fluent in English, both verbal and written, while Swedish skills are a plus.
We’re truly fascinated by your personality; you’re an outgoing and self-motivated doer who likes to balance independent work with driving projects and leading teams of different backgrounds and opinions. With top-notch stakeholder management and communication skills, combined with an ambitious mindset, you’re able to shape storyline and messaging for an executive and board level audience. Further, you have strong self-awareness leading you to continuously develop and seek feedback.
